What is a Booster?

A Booster is someone who helps spread the word and "boosts" awareness of GO GARRETT GO by getting anyone and everyone they come in contact with to go to gogarrettgo.com to pledge!

Why become a Booster?

Why not! Get involved and help Garrett raise money for Children's Miracle Network hospitals and KidSport. You'll feel good. You'll do good. We'll thank you. What else is there?

How do I become a Booster?

It's easy. All you need to have to be a Booster is a name - and an email address. If you have those - you are now officially a Booster! There you're done. Now go out and tell everyone you know about GO GARRETT GO - and urge them to go to gogarrettgo.com to pledge!

Why do I need a name and email address?

We want to be able to thank you for your tremendous effort and recognize your contribution - so you need to make sure that everyone you tell to go to gogarrettgo.com to pledge knows to write your name and email in the "Booster name and email" column of the online pledge form. That way, we can keep track of all the pledges that came as a result of your gargantuan efforts as a Booster and we can thank you properly (we'll be highlighting the biggest boosters of GO GARRETT GO on the GO GARRETT GO website, blogging and twittering about them and more!). So when you tell someone to go to gogarrettgo.com to pledge - tell them your name and email. Get creative - if you are on a team of any kind, in any sport, tell all your team-mates, or your team-mates' parents (email them!), or twitter about it, blog about it, post it on your Facebook page, send emails to everyone you know, put posters up in your school, ...whatever! Oh, and if you think of a creative way to raise awareness - let us and everyone know (that's what emails, blogs, Facebook, and Twitter are for!).

What else do I need to know?

Not much - like we said - your name and email. And it helps if you know what GO GARRETT GO is all about, and why Garrett is doing it (which you can find by clicking the "About us" icon above). That being said, if anyone asks what GO GARRETT GO is all about - tell them to go gogarrettgo.com to find out. Also, as a Booster we're not asking you to "tell" people to pledge - you're just "boosting" awareness by asking them to go to gogarrettgo.com - and let them make up their mind whether they want to pledge or not after reading about Garrett and his commitment to "kids who can't". If they pledge - that's great. If they don't - well maybe they'll tell someone else about it, and they'll tell someone, and they'll tell someone, and somewhere down the line someone will pledge!
